When Kingdom Meets Culture

The gospel of Jesus Christ confronts and corrects our culture to make it more like the kingdom of heaven. The letter to Titus is a classic example of this process at work: On the island of Crete is a young church struggling to live out Jesus' kingdom amidst their native cultural narratives and social norms, so Paul sends Titus to finish what remains unfinished. He must strengthen their faith, but also confront the false gods that drawing the church away from Jesus. If we invite Him, the Holy Spirit will use these Scriptures to do the same for us. 

This message launches our new series "Culture Wars," exploring how the gospel cultivates and confronts culture, calling believers to be agents of transformation in our cities, communities, and personal lives.
